I hope this finds you all in good sprits and health. This week we are going to work on building "Our Perfect House." We will be working with Google Slides and realtor.com. ALL of the houses we will be using will come from realtor.com.
As we focus on the work, I want you to continue to think about the person you are evolving into, the life you want to create for yourself in the future, and the type of leader you are becoming. Continue to focus on creating a life you will be proud of now and in the future.

2. The video and quote are similar in a couple of ways. The video talks about not giving up and fighting your way through which kind of relates to change. The quote talks about changing and how changing is regular in life. Well you have to change to fight your way through and get rid of your old habits. They differ how ever because the video is fighting but the quote talks about the future.
3. The video to me says that you can't give up on anything no matter what. No matter how much it hurts or how hard it is you have to deal with it and achieve it. If you give up you won't get anywhere but failure. If you don't give up and go through it you will find victory. To me the quote says there is nothing wrong about change and change is a good thing. It also says don't dwell how how things were back then and how things are right now. You have to do something so the future will be bright.
4. I consider myself a failure avoider. I say that because I don't always go for maximum effort but sometimes I make sure I just don't fail. I don't do the best I could but get it done. The things I do could always be better.
5. I think to be an effective leader you must make good well thought out decisions. You must also be a good role model and be a motivation to others. You also need to be thoughtful of others and not just yourself. To me someone must have those qualities to be an effective leader.
6. In my opinion the most important quality of a leader is the decisions he or she makes. They must make the most thought out right decisions. They have to think about others while making decisions. That is the most important to me because if they don't make the right ones then they will fail. Leaders shouldn't fail or at least try really hard not to fail. If they can't make the right decisions nothing will go right and it will be because of them. If nothing goes right because of them then that means they weren't a good leader.

2. The video and quote may have many things that make them similar to each other. Something that they both share is change being something positive. The video mentions how that you can become a warrior. You can keep fighting until you can't anymore, which will lead you to success. The quote also mentions how change is something that we all must do. If you don't change now and think about the future, you are going to miss it, so you much change for the good. Something that make them different from each other is that the video brings up some information about quitting. Quitting is something only weak people do. However strong people fight until they can't anymore.
3. You have to keep fighting. You are a warrior for a reason. Warriors don't stop fighting. If they do stop fighting, its because they have tried their best. They never gave up. They just kept on fighting until they reached success. You also need to stop living in the past or present. If you only focus on the past and present, you are going to miss everything that comes up in the future. You'll miss out on everything that happens in the future. However you can advert this course simply by focusing on the future.
4. I visualize myself as a success achiever in most of the things I do. I try my best to avoid failure. I also try my best to be the best in some of the things I do. Something else I try to do is apply as much effort as I can into what I am doing.
5. I think the word that is absolutely necessary is leadership. You must know how to lead a group/organization if you want to be a leader. Not everyone gets to be a leader. It is a special skill that only a few of people have. Leaders must know how to organize and lead a group of people to be successful.
6. I think the most important quality for a leader is listening to the voices of other people. Some leaders rarely ever do this. However this is something very important for many nations. Leaders that know how to listen to the people are more likely going to have more successful groups or organizations. Another characteristic I believe a leader needs is to be knowledgeable. They must know what is going on in the world. We need a leader that will be able to assist others that are in need of help when they need it the most. Unity is a key characterization for the survival of our human race.

2. The video and quote are similar with their message of life and how you have to be aware of your future. You have to fight to earn it. They differ with the quote specifically talking about simply those who look at the past and present will miss they're future. The video talks about fighting through life to get to where you want to be. They are both about fighting for yourself.
3. The quote is to not miss your future and you should always pay attention to it. The video is about fighting for your life no matter how complicated it may be. They are both very similar with their positive message and outlook. Never give up on your future. You have to mold it to your liking. You are the one that is going to be living through it. And, those people you decide should join you on your journey.
4. I would not be so sure of what I consider myself, because in order to be a success achiever you have to be a failure avoider and I do those both. I am not so great with being successful, so I would think I am more of a failure avoider. I just really don't wan to fail.

|2| The video and quote are similar in several ways. But the most specific and demanding way is the fact that the word "change" has a big impact on society. Because as many people probably do not know, every successful person, basketball player, football player, soccer player, or even baseball players to dentists, doctors, lawyers, etc. Not all of them grew up successful. And not all of them had that proper mindset that's needed to succeed. Some of them probably didn't grow up thinking that they were going to be BIG and thinking that they were going to save people's lives. But that's the nature of life. Life is a mysterious thing. That's why, it's so valuable.
|3| A proper summarization for both, the video and quote would probably be the fact of producing a proper mindset for each individual without it. Something that both, the video and quote said in different ways were, "I CAN. I WILL. I MUST." You should always want to speak life into whatever is bringing you down. No matter what, without positivity, your life is bland and empty. Just as long as you have a positive mindset that alone will change your entire world. A positive mindset makes every difficulty, and challenging obstacle you're racing upon, vanish into thin air. All you have to do is combine both your worth ethic and mindset together and you'll have the best life you could ever wish for.

2. The video is similar to the quote in various ways. Some of the ways that they similar is that they both consist of different elements on how to succeed in life. Also, on how to get your life back on track. Lastly they are different because in the video Eric Thompson was really detail with his speech and in the quote it wasn't very descriptive. This is what I believe are the differences and similarities between the video and quote.
3. Basically what I think the quote was about is to strive for success. If you want to be someone in life, there's no reason why you should just sit there and do nothing about it. I believe life has a purpose, and that's for us to be more involved with not only people but with your education. I think the video was about how Eric Thompson believes that everyone is a warrior. This is because we all have to fight for what we want in life. You can just be handed everything to you, you have to put forth some effort.

For example, if i have to study for my test tomorrow but have a chance to get something good in a game, I would actually study instead. 2) In both the video and the quote, the message they were trying to tell us is to never give up because giving up can affect our future. Always think, "Will this decision I'm about to make benefit my future or destroy my future?". In the video Eric told us that we all are warriors and we are capable of fighting through any obstacle life brings us. In the quote, President John F. Kennedy told us that change is important to life by calling it, " the law of life." He assured us that people tend to see the person they were in the past and how they are in the future, which distracts them from visualizing their future with change.
3) In the video, Eric told us that we all should never give up just because the task is a challenge, because there's no learning in quitting, only in trying. He told us that the strong tend to try even when there is nothing left for them, were as the weak would give up because there's nothing left for them. He wants us to know that we all are warriors and we need to fight through the challenges because at the end of all of it, lies victory. In the quote President John F. He told us that we tend to stay the same person as we were in the past and are in the present because we never try to change in order to benefit our future.

I tend to tell myself to do more than what the teacher asked you to do, but then I don't listen to myself and just complete the work to earn a regular grade on the work. 5) I think that in order to be an affective leader, you first need to know the knowledge of how to be a great leader. After, you know the steps to being a great leader, you then to be organized, prepared, and have the ability to give advice that can benefit other people's life. A great leader would be able to motivate people to do the right things in life in order to be successful, not a person who brings people down by giving them advice that will not benefit others.
6) The most important quality of a leader to me, is that the person should be able to give great advice that will help motivate me to be successful in life. For example, if I am in a situation and am not sure what I should do, I want to be able to turn to my leader for advice that will help me make the right decision. The job of a leader, in my opinion, is to be able to help lead people tomthe right way of life, to help motivate others to better themselves. Don’t ever give up no matter the obstacle. Give 100% of your effort because it’s going to be hard. It’s going to require change so just fight through it and you can beat it. History is on the other side. You are not weak, you are a warrior. So you keep fighting even when you have nothing left.

If you're strong then you not going to give up and your going to fight through everything. And the quote is saying that only the weak people live in the past and don't realize they're future is coming and what is coming in they're future. And the strong people forget what happened in their past and think about their future.
4. I honestly will say that I am a success achiever. One reason is that i want to get rid of all my F's so i started doing stuff and now i have no F's. And i wanted to be a player that doesn't get subbed out and i don't get subbed out i play the whole games.

In the quote, change is a form of enlightenment and those who stay in the past are more likely to not take it. The major differences are the way they are portrayed, John Fitzgerald Kennedy makes it seems as if people whom stay in the past are ignorant and seem to never consider change. Eric Thomas on the other hand speaks at it is something to fight for and the weak give up easily.

He also talks about how warriors are a great example for this as life is a battle we must outcome with victory. We do not want to consider the past too much as it will drag people down. People who tend to stare at the past miss out on the future.
4.Honestly I am a mixture of both not a perfectionist but not a failure either. I try my best to avoid failure when I know that I am not going to win. Failure isn't necessarily losing, its more like rejecting a loss, I accept them.
5.Words that I thought of for great leader are efficient, determined, understanding, and patient. To be an effective leader is not to boss people around, its to understand, learn with them and guide them to success. There is a huge difference with a boss and a leader.
6. In my opinion, the most important quality of a leader is patience. Knowing sociability and what you can and can not do, taking time to help out.If you move to accelerate plenty of subjects will be unable to follow. For instance, teachers must have patience and tranquility to deal with trouble kids and input 170 different copies of the same assignment. Understanding and respect are iconic to be patient, willing and a great leader..There is no other way to gain respect than listening attentively and giving advice, true leaders follow,

2) The video and the quote are similar because they both talk about how you have to fight for life. the video and the quote are different because the quote talks about how you will miss your future if you only pay attention to the past and the present. They are also different because the quote talks about leadership and the video does not say anything about leadership.
3) The video in my own words is saying that you always have to fight back. You have to fight back even if you feel like giving up . Never give up. The quote in my own words is saying to not pay to much attention to the past and present because you will miss you future. You should always pay attention to the future.
4) I consider myself as success achiever because I believe that I try my best to not fail. I always try my best to not fail. I always try to not fail because I want to make my parents proud of me.

ReplyDelete3. Since the video and quote are both very similar, they also share a similar message. The video and the message are about fighting to make a difference in your life. They want you to be motivated to get up and make a decision on what you want to do with your life. They share that you should not give up every time it gets hard. The quote also shares that learning and leadership skills are essential to your well-being and your development.
4. I consider myself more of a failure avoider than a success achiever. My main problem that makes me a failure avoider is my procrastination because I wait till the last minute to do things. A lot of the times I just don't turn things in, in fear of getting a bad grade because I did it incorrectly.
5. When someone says the words leader or leadership, many words come to mind that have to do with success. Some of the words that come to mind are: determination, hard-work(er), strong, achiever; but the main word that comes to my mind is responsibility. To be a leader or have leadership you must be responsible because others will follow and if you are not getting your work done then they will do the same.
6. In my opinion their are a lot of qualities a good leader needs to have. One of the qualities that is necessary is great social skills, because if they want to lead others they have to be able to communicate with them in a way that makes them comfortable. Another quality that a leader should have is being a good example because you cannot lead others if you, yourself are struggling. Also, a leader should be respectful, if you are not respectful to others they will not be respectful to you. A final good quality is that a leader should definitely be responsible, they should take responsibility for their own actions and not blame others.
