2. The video was giving techniques to making/presenting a good presentation. It was on making things clear and to not put too much text on a slide. You want to keep the audience's attention. 3. *Stay on the story
*Make everything clear
*Have each slide on one idea
*Be creative
*Practice makes perfect

2.) This video stated many good points towards presenting power points. It also stated why and how to engage your audiences into understanding and wanted to hear and learn more about your topic. Even though most of the time, the topics might be difficult and honestly boring, you should try to add an extra hint of spice or an extra hint of power and creativity to improve the standard of that specific topic.
3.) Based on my experience and understanding of this video a couple of key points that stood out to me were...
~Add interesting information to your power point.
~Try to add pictures.
~Summarize your long statements and facts if possible.
~Adapt to the audience.
~Be loud and clear.
~Try to have your own notes, that no one else can see.
~Try not to look at the screen too much.
~Pay attention to the audience just as they do to you.
~Don't dumb down your presentation.
~Try to add an effective chart, or table.

2. In this video it is telling us how to keep our audience more engaged in our presentation. instead of doing the regular ol boring bullet point presentation we can do it differently. We can add visuals and maybe even a video or two. There are many ways to make our presentation less boring by thinking outside the box. We just have to think outside the box.
3. *less is more
*use quotes
*think outside the box
*find a visual way
*use pictures
*clear beginning, middle, and end
*focus om the story you want to tell

2. Overall the video is informing the audience on how to make a presentation better. For example the video gives the audience tips such as narrowing down what you put on each slide. The narrator of the video also tells the audience to minimize the slide of a presentation to one subject. If you have more than one key idea on a slide it might tend to confuse the audience. That is what the video is trying to inform us about.
3. Notes:
*1000 - Millions of people do presentations everyday
*focus on what you're trying to tell/story
*follow a guideline or structure
*work outside the box
* "Less is more"
*limit 1 slide to 1 idea
*practice and rehearse
*use less charts/graphs
*use creativity
*make sure everything is in order and well organized

ReplyDelete2) Sometimes it's good to do the minimum. It's good because everyone gets the full knowledge. Make key points stand out.
3) *Focus on one main topic.
*Make sure everything links together.
*Draft on paper first.
*Decide how to present. (what makes sense)
*Less writing gives more knowledge.
*1-2 Key ideas per slide
*Be visual with picture and designs.
*Make sure everyone can understand the way you write.
*Make personal notes for spectators won't see.
*Rehearse to make sure the presentation is perfect.
*Put time and effort in to the presentation.
*Keep it simple.
2.The video is stating that it takes effort to do a presentation. The video talks about how to improve your presentation and how its good to use less in a slideshow. The person that is watching you has to understand what you are trying to tell them.
ReplyDelete3.-Less is more
-You have to tell a story to not make people confused
-People cant read you slides until you understand it
-You have to be specific
-You have to keep everything simple
-You can use graphs and charts
-Write down your presentation down before you present
1. NOTES ON PAPER
ReplyDelete2. Millions of people around the world share presentations. Some of them are really good presentations but others are still a need some help. This video is sharing on how to give a great presentation to your audience. When your sharing a presentation think of it as you telling a story. Before sharing a presentation, you must always practice on what your going to say. In your presentation, show charts, graph, tables, and some quotes.
3.
- Turn your presentation into a story
- Think what best tells your story
- Write down ideas for your presentation
- Look for visual ways to present your presentation
- Practice your presentation
- Write notes for yourself
1. WATCH THE VIDEO
ReplyDelete2. What the video means is when your making a presentation try in find others ways for your audience to comprehend it. Also, stay in your own flow. This means don't go off topic and try not to confuse your audience. It also talked about how not to use complicated charts because that makes the audience and your teacher bored of your presentation. This is what I think the video was about.
3.
add charts
use an easy structure to begin with like, beginning, middle, end
Use quotes
textual evidence to back up your claims
stay in your flow
speak clearly
Use different charts to make it easier to understand
have visual ways to tell your story or topic
limit each slide to not bored your audience
focus on the story or topic your going to tell

2. The video is helpful in explaining a task that a lot of people in the world do. It explains how to make your work better for other people to understand on a much simpler level. It said that sometimes less is more and that is true in some cases. Some people like to add everything they are planning on saying on they're presentation and that is not a good idea. It shows how to make your information smaller.

#1) WATCHED THE VIDEO IN CLASS.
#2) The reason for this video was to inform people on how to have a powerful presentation. As we all know and we do in the world is in our presentation we tend to add unnecessary information and make our presentation boring that makes the audience bored and want to go home. To help keep our presentation more interesting we should stay away from bullet point information, boring charts and tables, and clip art. Instead we should make our information less longer and try to simplify the work so that the audience still gets the topic but doesn't get bored during their learning.
#3)
- Stay away from bullet point styled information, boring charts and tables, and cheesy clip art.
- Use less information but still have enough so that the audience understands what you are speaking about.
- Try to gradually present the topic step by step.
- If you are doing a PowerPoint you should assign each slide a main topic and give information about that topic.
- Try to use a simple format so that it will be easier for your audience to read and understand.
- To help yourself think outside the box you should just grab a pad of paper and a pen and just brainstorm ideas that you think will make your presentation more interesting.

ReplyDelete2). The video is about how to make your presentation better. The video explains that sometimes you may need to change up your presentations. It is important to think about which presentation form is better to tell your story. The presentation should stick to the main ideas and not be that long. It is also very important to make sure your presentation catches the audiences attention by using images and anything appealing to the audience.
3). •Focus on the story you're trying to tell
• structure the story with a clear beginning, middle, and end.
• make sure that the beginning middle, and end link together at various points and build up to the conclusion
• Stay outside the box
• Sometimes in power points, less is more
• limit each slide to one key idea
• Look for supporting images to tell the story
• use brief quotes
• hide notes for yourself during the presentation in a place where only you can see them
• practice makes perfect
• consider what will beat help tell a story

ReplyDelete2. To me this quote means that the proper way to set up a presentation is to make this more entertaining and not just write down the facts. you can do this by either adding pictures. I added pictures in my presentation to not make it so boring and fact by fact. This video did help me out and give me ideas.
3. On different sheet of paper

1.) DONE ON PAPER
ReplyDelete2.) The video talked a lot about simplifying your work. It said a lot that you should just grab the most important parts of your slide(s) and go with that. Don't be extra as well, you shouldn't use graphs or tables because it'll confuse people. A quote that really stood out in the video was " Less is more " , it means that if you don't use that much, you'll still have a lot. Stay outside the box as well.
3.) Key points I can take away from the video:
- DO NOT add graphs, charts, or tables to try and look fancy, it bores people and gets complicated.
- Tell the story you are trying to tell with a beginning , middle, and end.
- Stay outside the box
- Write down some ideas
- " Less is more. "
- Practice your lines and clarify what you are going to say during your presentation.
- Don't be under pressure
- Be calm
- Don't read everything off your power point,
2.The video says that there are ways to improve your presentation.Got to stay on topic.Give your audience a good presentation.Be clear on what your going to talk about.

2.In simple terms the video pretty much describes how to make a great presentation. It is better to have less words and more penetrating images and fascinating titles and have all the words inputted to the speaker notes. It also mentions how cheesy graphs and clip art just confuse the people who look at the presentation. You must pay attention to their perspective first as they are the people who are going to view and are the people you are trying to inform about the topic. If a person a mile away can't see the words on the board then there is no point to having them.
3.-The images
- The excess words
- The candidate would have a more summarized backstory
- Study the issues
- Make the slides more interesting
- Project my voice and practice speaker notes
- Attempt avoiding anything that has to do with the other candidate
- Keeping the same slide format for all slides
- Grammatical errors
- Try to blend the evidence from the website more
- Make the notes look more like my own as they seem plagiarized even though they are not.
