“Fear stifles our thinking and actions. It creates indecisiveness that results in stagnation. I have known talented people who procrastinate indefinitely rather than risk failure. Lost opportunities cause erosion of confidence, and the downward spiral begins.” - Charles Stanley

  1. In your own words, summarize the quote. (1-2 Sentences)
  2. Based upon your experience, what does this mean to you? (2-3 sentences)
  3. View the following video and take Cornell Notes on it - THE OTHER SIDE OF FEAR
  4. How are the video and the quote similar?  How do they differ? (3-5 sentences)
  5.  Ultimately, why does this matter and how can you apply the concepts to your life to make it better? (2-3 paragraphs)

  1. 1. From my perspective what I believe this quote means is that fear can cause many things. It could also prevent you from taking that opportunity that only comes once in a life time.
    2. Based upon my experience what I think this quote means to me is that you only get one shot in life and you should take that opportunity to fulfill your dreams. For example, a high school student wants to tryout for the cross country, but the only problem is he's worried about people making fun of how he runs. So gives it a moment and decides to forget about the cross country tryouts. This is what fear does to you, it changes the way you think on certain things. He could of got a scholarship and that could of brought him one step closer to success.
    3.WATCH THE VIDEO
    4. The video and quote are similar and different in some ways. One way that the video and quote have in common is that they both talked about fear in a different way. Eric Thompson(E.T) stated, "Don't let fear stop you from trying" and the quote talked about how fear can change or stop you from trying. This shows from both perspectives that they have the meaning of fear used in their own words and are related.
5.a Ultimately this matters to me. Some of the reason on why i believe this matters is because I was put in one of those "fear" situation. It was in the 8th grade, I made of decision on going to leuzinger and they had academies you could join. I've heard that those academies could really help you in the future. So I pick the AAA academy and that gives you AP classes and can really help you get into a college or University.
5.b The AAA academy had a mandatory test I had to take over the summer. I was afraid i wasn't going to be excepted and that "fear" is what tried stopping me. But I knew that if i were to be excepted then that could change my life in many positive ways. So I took the test and got excepted, I was extremely happy even though fear kept pulling me back I never stopped because opportunities like this only come around once in a blue moon.
5.c This also matters to me in various ways. From my experience, people would sometimes call me stupid. During my whole years of elementary I believe what they said and end up getting bad grades cause I was afraid and had that fear of thinking they might of been right. In middle school my teachers taught me how to believe in yourself and don't listen to the negatives things only the positive and move forward from that. So I worked harder and harder in school and went from Ds to B+ and higher. This shows why fear in the quote and video matters to me because fear can stop you from being someone great or well known.

  2. 1)I believe this quote means you fear can cause many things in this world. Fear should never be the reason to not try.
2)Based on my experience i think that when you have a good opportunity you should always take it. You should always take the opportunity because that opportunity can change your life. You should always be prepared to get made fun of on whatever you do but that doesn't matter because you are the one most likely to succeed in life. Don't let fear from stopping you in whatever you do. Always believe in yourself.
    3)ALREADY DID IN CLASSROOM
4)The video and the quote are similar because they both tap about fear. You should never let fear stop you from doing anything. The video and the quote are different because the video says how you always have to try no matter what. Also, you should always tell yourself "I will never be stopped until i try". Lastly, never be lazy in what ever you do.
5)This matters because it is showing you how much life is important. Its also telling how every move you do in life matters. You always have to try in whatever you do cause it can change your life.Always be willing to take a risk even if you are scared.
5b)You should always know how much life is important so you have to to take risks. Also, you should never be lazy because its your life it is affecting. You should never let fear stop you in whatever you do. Always believe in yourself because you are capable of doing it.
5c)Fear matters in so many ways because you stop what you are doing because you are scared of what might happen. For example, people used to make fun of me so i was scared of going to school and people making fun of me. I didn't like when people made fun of me cause i felt really bad but that never stopped me from doing things. So i started to ignore them and then they stopped making fun of mr cause they knew i wasn't paying attention to them. Thats why you should never fear.

#1) This quote by Charles Stanley is stating that fear is the cause of us, people, to not try and achieve new opportunities in our life.

#2) Fear is an inside feeling that everyone has. It can keep us from trying new things and makes us think, " What if." In my life there were many times that I has homework due or a volleyball game and I was scared to do the task and instead of trying I just gave up. We all know that giving up gets us no where so when I gave up, I wasn't only putting my team, parents, and teachers down but I was also putting myself down.

#4) Eric Thomas and Charles Stanley both discussed the topic, fear. They are similar because they both told is that fear is part of what is keeping us away from doing new opportunities in life. Both speakers gave a good example of what fear is to them, but in Eric's presentation he told us his story. He told us of how he struggled in life but was able to accomplish many things with trying. He told us that the other side of fear brings a better feeling than the feeling of not trying brings you.

#5) This lesson matters because we all have our own type of fear whether if it's fear of spiders or fear of failing. Now that we know that fear causes us to stop thinking that we are capable of accomplishing goals, we now can tell ourselves, "Don't let the fear get to you." If we tell ourselves this, then we will be able to gradually forget the fear and will just be able to live without saying, " What If?".

In our lives, to we all have the same kind of fear and that is, " The fear of failing." It's completely normal, but if we do the things we want no matter how difficult they look, we will be able to say, "I DID IT!" If we just sit back and seem like we don't care, you are not benefiting you're life because you are not trying to have any new opportunities. Opportunities are all around us, we just have to be the one to try and do it no matter if you might fail. If we just try and do our best on the task, not matter how difficult it seems, we will either accomplish or learn from your experience. You can learn that even though you failed you still took a chance and just didn't give up.

  6. 1) Having fear can keep you from doing things that you need to do. Simply having talent doesn't do much good if you procrastinate.
    2) Based on my experience this quote means to me that I have get up and get things done. I have to strive for the best possible. Even if I have talent I can't sit around and wait for things to happen.
    4) The video and quote have similarities but they also have some differences. One of the similarities they have is that they both talk about trying and getting things done. Another thing they both talk about is putting effort in like the video says " Do not fail if you haven't even put effort in". One difference is that the video talks more about the positive outcome while the quote is more about the negative outcome. In the video he says that you can be successful but it comes with critique while in the quote he talks about how procrastination leads to a downward spiral.
    5) • Ultimately both the video and quote can be very important to add to my life. Sometimes in life we'd rather fail than attempt something new and then fail but you have to remember to at least try. In the video he says "if you're gonna fail at least die trying", which is important to apply to your life to remember if you fail at least you can say you tried. The quote implies that fear can keep us from doing great things in life because we're afraid of our outcome and even talented people let this get to them. We can apply that to our life by remembering that you can have talent but if you don't go out and try something new with your talent, you'll be stuck in the same stage of your life doing the same thing over and over again.
•In order to be successful you have to believe in yourself. You have to stop procrastinating and take a risk. If you continue to turn down opportunities because you are lazy or have a fear of failing you will not be successful. The video explains you have to make the things you have to get done emergencies in order to stop being lazy. You have to make yourself believe it's an emergency so you can operate differently.
    • The video also helps you understand that success is not easy. Success comes with the critiques of other people on your life. If you don't do much with your life people have low expectations of your life and what you do with it. Success comes with a responsibility of succeeding expectations, not of others but of yours. You can apply this to your life by remembering that when you become successful you will have to continue to challenge yourself to go beyond your expectations and limits.

  7. 1.Actions or decisions maybe be changing or left behind. One of the main factors that causes this is fear of either failing or risk failing.
2.In my point of view, this means that letting your fears of failure or risking to fail hold you back and cause you to lose many opportunities. For example, wanting to move on to the next level on a video game but make yourself think what will happen and put yourself in doubt. It also means to me that even though you might fail you should try and keep going.
    3.Watched Video
4.The quote and video can be similar in many ways as well as have differences. One way that they are both similar is by both talking about actions being based to letting your fear interfere. In the quote it's says,"Fears stifles our thinking and actions,"and in the video it says ," My fears will no longer stop me".One way they are different is because the quote focuses on the idea of fear not letting you advance, meanwhile the video talks about and mentions the other side of fear. They both have amazing points even though they are different.
5.These sources may have many different ways that they can matter with everyday life. One of the many ways that they could matter is by relating to many people who let some opportunities go just because they let there mind put their self in doubt. For example,a boy wants to ask a girl to prom but the boy keeps wondering if : she has a date already, doesn't want to go,etc. The boy will sooner or later change his mind and not ask the girl out. After all, these can also be apply to everyday situations and make it better.
Applying this message and topic to your life can lead to amazing results. One of the ways is by pushing your fears away while making the decision to move on.If you let your fear in, the result will be not moving on or staying where you are.But it's up to the person that decides of the person is willing to move and continue on.These sources could be applied in many different ways.

    1. In my opinion what this quote means is that people let their doubts and fears stop them from achieving their goals . I also think it means that when people fall in their fears or doubts they begin to create a downward spiral that can cause a lack of confidence.

2.Based upon my experience this is saying that like when you like someone and your scared to talk to them. When school finishes you regret not talking to them and letting them know how you feel about them . After you start to feel sad because you didn't take the risk to talk to them .

3.The video and the quote are similar and different in some ways . They are similar because they both talk about fear taking control of peoples lives and the decisions they make . They are also similar because they both are talking people who procrastinate then risk the chances of succeeding . They are different because the video mainly talks about how you need to be able to die trying not to allow yourself fail and the quote is saying that people loose their chances on things because of the fear and lack of confidence that doesn't allow them to succeed or accomplish their goals .

    4. Ultimately this matters because if you don't stop your fears from letting you succeed you will never be able to know what will be the outcome. When people are scared to do something they been wanting to do they end up loosing the chance of a lifetime . For example if you always been wanting to skydive , then once you are up there you start to get scared and then you back out . You just missed out on some great memories or even the excitement of a life time that you could have experienced . This is important because we need to get rid of our fears so we can get something great out of what we were trying to do .

4b. Another reason why this matters is because if you let yourself fail you will you will never be an inspiration to others . You should be able to never let yourself fail because at the end your the one who is going to be letting yourself down and whatever you been working on . You need to work hard to the point were you can be an inspiration and change peoples lives and they would maybe want to be like you. This matters because if you are able to accomplish that then you will be known as the person who changed lives!!

    1) To me, the quote is stating that fear can only hold you back and if you are confident fear isn't an issue. Fear is what holds us back to achieving our goal. Fear is what makes us stop taking risks.
    2) Based on experience taking risks and working hard pays off. I use to play for a regular club team when I decided to try out for a pre-academy. The pre-academy got me a tryout with the LA Galaxy academy and now I'm playing for the best academy in the nation.
    4) The quote and video are similar in a variety of ways. They are both saying fear holds us back from accomplishing our dreams. They both also tell us because of fear we procrastinate and don't take risks. They differ in the way that ET goes into detail by setting a list. the list is set up in 4 parts.
    1. Emergency
    2. Very important
    3. Relativity important
    4. Not important
    5) I can apply this to my life by stop thinking and start taking risks. To not doubt my choices and be confident in me. With this extra boost of confidence, I would find it easier to make good decisions. For example, I would find it easier to talk to girls, play soccer better, do better on tests, and finally be more respectful.
By using ET's technique I can become a better person. Using those 4 steps could be the easiest thing I would do. I would be more organized and more responsible. I would turn in work on time and could schedule appointments easier. Finally, I would become one of the best students and athletes a coach and teacher would have.

    1. This quote is saying that fear is the reason we don't do things. Fear leads to making excuses not to do things.

    2. Based on my experience this means that even if your afraid you have to learn how to get over it. Don't let it make you wanna wait until the very end to do it. If you let fear make your decision, you will miss an opportunity.

    4. They are alike because the video says you do things if it's an emergency and the quote says you procrastinate things because of fear. Two similar excuses to not do something. If it's not an emergency you don't really do it and if your afraid you don't really do it. They are different because one is saying you won't do something depending on how important it is and the other is saying that you won't do it because your afraid. They have different concepts but a similar idea.

5.This matters because these are excuses. These are excuses to not succeed. Not doing something because it's not that important to them is not being responsible and like the video says, "Repsonsibility comes with success." This also matters because a lot of people don't do things because they are afraid. Being afraid your whole life will get you no where in life which is a very bad thing.

A lot of people tend to procrastinate as well. If you are afraid you tend to procrastinate and the video is saying to get over your fears. I can apply this to my life to make it better to get over things. I won't let me being afraid stop me from doing anything. I will make everything an emergency so I get it all done.

One job I would like to do is join the NBA. Sometimes people get afraid to go out there and join teams because their afraid. That happens to me sometimes but that shouldn't stop me from doing what I want to do. This has motivated to not let fear affect me and to not procrastinate. That will make my life better in many different ways.

  11. 1. This quote means that fear is not letting us chase our dreams. We are always thinking about what other people will say about us. But we need to stop thinking that and start to put in effort to be what you want to be.
    2. When i was in 6th grade there were basketball tryouts and i wanted to go. But i was scared because i thought the girls in 8th grade were going to laugh at me because i didn't know how to play. I decided i had to give up my fear and try to do something new. To me this quote means that you should never give up before you even try.
    4. The video and quote are similar because they both talk about how people don't do things they want to because they have fear. They also talk about how people in the last minute give up because they don't want other people to make fun of them. They both are trying to tell us that we shouldn't stop ourselves before trying. The video and quote differ because the quote is telling us what fear does to people. And the video is telling what we should do in order to not fall in that spot.
    5. This matters because it can inspire people. It can make people realize that they are making bad choices and need to change that. This can make people believe in themselves and do what they wanted to do. They can get rid of their fear and stop thinking about what other people will say about you. This can make people succeed and when they do they can inspire other people to do the same thing.
This also matters because there are many opportunity's out there and people don't take advantage of them. They focus on things that are not important when there is an emergency out there waiting for you. That emergency may be what you have waited in order to succeed. This can help kids in the future so they can start off good and work their way up. That way they don't feel afraid of what others will think.
I can apply these concepts to my life to make it better because this will help me understand that i should never give up. I should keep on trying and take all the opportunity's because one they they will not be there for me again. I should take advantage of it and put in all my effort in order to succeed. These concepts can help me realize my dreams and be whatever i want to be. Also, i can help other people in the future and give them advice.

1.In my own words, this quote means that fear is one of the main things that stops people from progressing and keeps them neutral. From there everything goes downhill and everything collapses. Its like a soccer player who doesn't go for the shot fearing a miss, and they lose the game.
2.Based on experiences I have had, this quote means, don't let fear stop you. Fear is something natural, its something that humans experience so it shouldn't be anything new.I have seen people collapse due to mistakes they have made, fear of failure is one thing, failing because of the fear is another.
4.The video and the quote by Charles Stanley are similar because they show how fear is the thing that holds people back, specifically the fear of failure. Also, the video talks about how to get away from the fear. The quote only mentions what will happen if you let the fear consume you. Charles Stanley has a brilliant point as he states that the downward spiral kicks in.All of this is similar to Eric Thomas as he speaks about how fear can hold you back but you must keep going. The only difference I see is that Charles Stanley doesn't point out how to keep the fear from stopping you life Eric did.
5.This can help my life as it will motivate me to keep going. When i run for SR-LA and keep going, I will not stop at Alondra park, the fear of stopping and exhaustion will take me all the way to El Camino. Also for soccer, I know that if I fear missing the cross, I will end up failing without going for the header. Eric Thomas and Charles Stanley good motivation and they can help me improve my life in certain aspects. Also for Academics, my goal is still the 3.8 GPA.

This matters because, this is the reason why people don't progress. The fact that we know what causes things will help us prevent them, like preventing Ebola, just keep going.Fear will always be there we just have to change the way we see things. Instead of seeing yourself fail, just try it, why die without trying. The only reason why you are not on the team is because you haven't tried. That is one of the main reasons why we fail, we imagine it that way.

    1. Fear is something that interrupts our mind and thinking process. It makes us stop doing things. It also gives us a hard time making choices.

    2. This to me can mean many things. For example whenever you want to try something new you get scared. When you get scared you decide whether or not if you should do it. Also it can either make you indecisive or just stop you from trying something new entirely.

    3. DONE

    4. Some ways that the video and quote are similar can be that they both mention fear. The video mentions how if you didn't apply effort than you shouldn't fail. There is no reason in failing if you never even tried. Some other things that make them similar would be people procrastinating their work. Now there are a few differences within the video and the quote. The quote mentions how once you fail or give up you begin to fall down in a spiral that hard to get out of. The video also mentions how there is a level of critique depending on what your status is socially.

    5. This ultimately matters now to our future generation because people keep failing at things even though they don't try. One major example would be school. Most of us went there and some of us tried, others didn't. The ones that didn't try failed. Like the video said, there is no point in failing if you didn't try. That is why this matters because without this mattering no one would even care if they failed or not.

Some other reasons to why this matters because it means a lot. Once someone fails you start falling down a never ending loop that is hard to get out of. It's best by preventing that from happening ever. That is why this matters so much. If this never mattered everyone would be failing and falling down that hole because no one would care. This is something bad because like in a previous video, the narrator mentions that once people start failing they can turn it into a culture.

These concepts can be applied to our society to make it better. However I can also apply these concepts to my life to make it better too. There are many things that the video and quote mention that I can apply to my life. One of them would be about failure. I can apply the fact that on the other side of failure is something good. If I can apply this to my life it will encourage me to try new things and to not give up. As a result, I can try new things and also be successful at it.

    1. This quote means that many people's fears stop them from chasing their dreams. People's fear of failure or other people's comments will cause them to go about their lives without achieving their goals.

    2. Based upon my experience, this means quote means that fear stops us from achieving things. In class one day, I thought I knew the answer to a problem, so I raised my hand and gave the answer. I gave the wrong one, so people started laughing and making comments about how I was wrong. Ever since then, I've been too afraid to participate in class, or even speak to people in public because I fell like I will say the wrong thing.

    3. Done on a separate paper.

    4. The video and quote are similar because they both say that many people don't try things in life out of fear. Many people, because of fear, won't discover their talents because they are afraid that people will not approve of them, or that they will judge them. The video and quote differ because while the quote only mentions that fear can stop a person, the video mentions other factors that will stop people from pursuing their goals in life. For example, laziness is also a major thing that stops people.

    5. The video and quote matter for many reasons. One of these reasons is both motivate you and make you realize that fear, among many other things, should not stop you from pursuing your goals. Another reason is they help us stop making excuses. Many people ignore things if they feel it is not important, or an emergency. When they realize something is very important or an emergency, they make excuses and leave everything else for the last minute.

I can apply these concepts to my life in many ways. One of these ways is I can stop procrastinating. The quote mentions that both fear and procrastinating cause many people to fail. Another way I can apply these concepts to my life is I can stop being lazy and get right to a task, instead of waiting. A final way I can apply these concepts to my life is by treating everything as if it were very important.

These concepts will improve my life in many ways. Learning to stop procrastinating will improve my grades. When I feel like an assignment is easy, I sometimes leave it for last. Doing everything when it is assigned will allow me to have more time to double check everything and make sure it is correct. Learning to treat everything as if it were important will allow me to be caught up with everything. If an assignment is small, I leave it for last and that can affect me because I might forget to do something. Doing everything will prevent that from happening.

  17. 1.) The quote means that with people overthinking, you'll go downward in life. You can't be scared to do something or you'll cause bad things.

2.) based upon my experience, this means that you may never be able to join a sports club, or be picked out to join an even better team. You being scared is pausing your capabilities of so much things possible. Fear is a terrible thing, it's going to stop you from accomplishing what you think you can't do, but really can.

    3.) DONE ON PAPER

4.) The video and quote are similar because they both say that fear stops you from so much. Fear is what holds you back from doing what you really can do, is what they both say. The video and quote differ is that the quote say sit brings you downward no matter what pretty much. The video says that fear is stopping you but you can stop it yourself and strive for that success.

5.) This matters because if I let fear get to me, it'll be a mission to succeed. I can't allow fear to have me think that I am not able to do stuff. If I beat fear then I win in life. Fear will get to you in a matter of minutes. You need to know that you can do more than you're capable of.
I can apply the knowledge of fear being able to stop me in life. As long as I know that fear can stop me I will not allow it to. I'm going to forget about fear and do what I need to do. That knowledge is going to help me so much I won't have any problems with succeeding. That's how i'm going to apply it to my life.

  18. 1. I think this quote is saying that fear can mess with our thinking and our actions in a bad way. Missed opportunities can lower your confidence and a bad attitude begins.

    2. I think this means that if you have fear it can mess you up. My fear of passing the end of the year test actually dropped my score down lats year. I learned a lesson that if you have fear it can mess your life up.

    1. Fear stops us from doing what is right for ourselves. People don't do what is right for them, because they are afraid of failing and instead procrastinate.

    2. Based upon my experience this means to me to not let fear get in the way of my future. My future is very important to me. I can't just let a good opportunity pass again.

    3. Finished in class on separate paper.

    4. The video and quote are similar with the message they are conveying. Don't be on the side of fear be on the other side of it. Fight against it. Always do what's right. They are different with the way they are represented.

    5. This matters, because people need to be aware of the fact that they can't always fear fear. They have to fight against it. Be on it's opposite side. They need to realize what they are capable of. Capable of without the fear.

I can apply this to my life and make it better by always pushing fear back and my strength to the front. Never let fear get the best of me. I am able to do a lot without it. I don't need it in my life. But, people say that is what makes us human. Not me.

  20. 1. From my perspective what I think this quote means is that fear can block you from doing great things. The opportunity of a life time could be wasted or lost due to fear.

    2. Based upon my experience what I think this quote means is is that fear is something imaginary and only in your head. Fear has personally stopped me from joining an important club which i denied due to thoughts in my head telling me i was not good enough. I regret it to this day and a big opportunity was lost. But i have also beat fear and I joined the soccer team and am now captain of the team. But yes fear has obstructed my way of great opportunities.

    3. On a slice of paper.

    4. The video and quote both about fear. But the video talks about the challenges and the quote about the outcome. Both video and quote are helpful but I personally prefer the video as it taught me more than the quote. I do think fear is one of the biggest obstacles in life. But it is all imaginary and all in your own mind.

    5. I think this matters because I know that my fear is only for a while and then it goes away. I think that risks are made to suffer now and pay off later. If you do not take risks then you will not move forward nor backward you will stay in the same spot. If you wake up at 4 in the morning every single day to practice it helps. It may be tiring, it may be annoying, but it is one step closer to you achieving your goals.

If I apply this to my life and live by my own mindset and do not stop I will become successful. We all start from nothing and eventually become something if we work for it. I want to be a pilot and am already looking for schools to become one. I am happy to have this knowledge. Because some seniors don't even know what they wanna become which is not good when your suppose to be applying for schools. I think getting an idea of your future at a young age is a good head start and now all that follows is effort and your set.

A lot of people procrastinate and I do not think that is helpful in life. Procrastinating is a really big obstacle I use to say I would do my homework and I ended up doing it the period before the class. Now I know the outcome and do everything early before I get it all tied up. But to conclude yes I think fear has stopped everyone from a great opportunity which they will never get again.

  21. Fear changes the way you think. Lost opportunities cause your confidence to shrink and die out.

Based on my experience, this means that fear stops you from doing what you want. Like every time i'm eating something new. I have the fear that it's going to taste disgusting, so I don’t try it. Maybe if I tried it, it would’ve been the best thing I ever tasted.

    On paper

The quote and video are similar because they both talk about how fear stops people from acting. Many people have fear that other people will judge them based on their dreams. The video and quote are different because the quote mentions that when you procrastinate and have fear of failure, the downwards spiral begins. The video mentions other things that stops you from your goals besides fear. Like laziness is another problem that stops people from achieving your goal.

This matters because people let fear take them over and stop them from success. People don’t try because they want to be accepted by others. If you try to pass through the fear and everything that’s stopping you, then you’ll achieve your dreams. Don’t let lost opportunities lower your confidence. Learn from it and figure out how you will take the next opportunity when it comes. You can apply this to your life by never giving up. Do what's best for you and don't listen to anyone that thinks otherwise. Don't let fear change how you think. Change the way you think. Think of the most important things that you have to do as an emergency. This way you can get the most important things done first and you don't have to procrastinate about anything. Instead of using your phone for hours, use that time to become successful.

    1. In my opinion I believe that this quote was mainly about how success takes effort. Success is not an easy thing to obtain especially since so many people want to be successful.

    2. Based upon my experience, this video means a lot to me. Because I've witnessed the fact of one of my family members losing everything; his car, house, wife and kids, everything he ever owned, just because he didn't put in any effort into becoming successful. That truly taught everyone a lesson because success is the key to life.

    4. The video and the quote are similar by multiple ways. First of all, the quote by Thomas Jefferson really connects to the video, because it basically simplifies the video but in a quote form. Most people don't understand the fact that effort is extremely important in life. Luck is not a skill, but working hard is. Because everyone don't have the skill, or rather potential to actually acquire the potential of working hard. Mostly because of the point of being impatient, or procrastination.

    5. This video ultimately matters and I can apply it to the concepts to my life to make it better by doing exactly what the steps tell me. I can apply the concepts by putting the extra effort in everything I do.
The only thing that is different than ordinary and extraordinary is the "extra" so therefor, I have to be extraordinary to be successful. Which is my life goal, or most likely everyone's life goal. Everyone in the world should want to be successful. Everyone in the world should want to have a nice house, a nice car, in a nice neighborhood, with a wife, and kid(s). And everyone CAN have that. It's just the fact of having and putting in the effort to bringing out that inner steam and inner extraordinary person out of your soul, and bringing it out to use.

  24. 1. If you strongly believe that something good will happen, it will happen. If you act a certain way, like to say happy or positive, positive and happy things will happen to you.

2.This means if you want to get treated will respect you have to give respect also. You have to influence other peoples mind with love, respect, and a positive mind set.

3.They are similar by the quote saying you have to treat people differently to get what you deserved. The video is saying that if you want to be someone else or change who you are,you have to follow three simple steps. They are both different by the quote stating about if you change how you act different things will happen to you. They are different because the video is saying where you want to be in, in the next five or maybe one year.

4.This matters because you want to change who you are but something is keeping you from achieving what you want to do.That is your imagination telling you shouldn't do it because its to risky.Your brain is telling you no because it thinks your good where your at.You have to trick your brain to get on the creative side of your brain. You have to see your future in your head, then draw it so you won't forget it,then you go for it.This matters to me because my future is right there in front of me,but have you have to try to get there by changing the way you think.I have to draw my vision then don't think about what your conscious tells you about getting where you need to be.Fear is the only thing that is keeping me from accomplishing my goal.Fear is what keeping your brain from thinking the way you want it to.

  25. 1. This means that fear can take control of our actions and wont let us move on.We don't even risk failure.

    2. This mean to me that we can't let fear from stopping us.We have to move on and continue with what we have to do.We have to risk failure.

4.The video and the quote are similar because they both talk about not to let fear into what we are doing. They are different because the video says that we have to "die trying" which means to work hard.the quote says that fear can stop us from doing what we have to do.Also it doesn't let us go foward. Not to leave things at the last minute.
5.this matters to me because its how my life can change.I can apply the concepts to me by trying hard.By giving it all I got.We have to take risks. We can't let our stop us.
We got to keep moving foward. We can't leave things at the last minute.
